Think
honesty doesn't matter? In July of 2008, the real estate market was
tanking and I needed a new source of income so I got a job selling cars.
I never told the customer everything like the profit margin or the
different ways dealers make money but I never had to lie to them either.
By December of that year I was the top salesperson in that dealership.
Yesterday a customer from FOUR years ago called me to ask advice on
buying his next car even though his current choice is a different brand.
Lose your job, search for another one, lose your reputation and there's
an almost impossible road back. Just my experience.
